story so far....

As a child I learned the clarinet to grade five, but was always more interested in creating my own tunes. So I taught myself piano and guitar and have been writing ever since.

I am PRS registered and work from a small home studio in Cambridgeshire, mainly in the styles of pop, dance, acoustic/rock and instrumental. I'm into lots of different music, from John Barry to Justin Timberlake, but I love great melodies and music that conveys emotion.

My main achievements so far include finalist in a songwriting competition organised by the British Academy of Composers & Songwriters.

In 2003 I formed the indie/pop band siskin. They played over 50 gigs, including the Cambridge Corn Exchange and Islington Bar Academy, and won the Eastern regional heat of a national unsigned bands competition, securing a finals place at the London Astoria. They also played at Leicester University's summer ball - where Jools Holland and Girls Aloud topped the bill - and recorded two EPs. Visit the music page to hear some of these songs.

In 2002 one of my songs (If Your Heart Won't Lie) was chosen for the debut album of new boyband Teeze. The track was also recorded by solo artist Jonn Faith. You can hear the original demo here.

Loving music (and dancing) as I do, it's no surprise that DJing is another string I've added to my bow and I run my own mobile disco operating in and around Cambridgeshire. See DJ page for details.
